Location: Alexander, North Dakota
This role will serve as an integral part of the Health Safety Environment (HSE) team through on-going focus and continuous improvement upon the compliance of health, safety, and environmental conditions related to company locations, equipment, owner/operators, and subcontractor involvement.
The be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will drive and develop functions across the company ensuring that is has the right skills, processes, materials, information, and education to consistently meet all federal, local, and internal requirements. This position will be responsible for our Alexander, ND region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist all employees on-site for safety awareness and DOT compliance.
Serve as point of contact on location for safety compliance and environmental issues.
Coordinate and execute new hire orientation and required training as needed.
Conduct safety meetings, trainings, and review for employees and owner/operators.
Report all incidents and participate in investigations including near-miss incidents.
Research and recommend compliance and safety trends.
Support HSE and DOT compliance to area management and employees as needed.
Respond and report on on-site emergencies.
Prepare weekly reports and conduct field audits on a routine basis.
Monthly travel required 20% - This will be on an “as needed” basis. As Badlands continues to grow there may be a need to flex to other terminals to assist on a temporary basis.
Qualifications:
High School Graduate.
PEC Safeland/H2S Clear Instructor preferred.
Applied knowledge of DOT regulations.
3+ years of oilfield experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner.
High personal interest and aptitude for the environmental, health, and safety aspects of the company.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year*
